Paint.net : Clouds addition

Here is a small tutorial for Paint.NET : the addition of clouds on a picture. It is quite easy to realize and I will use the following picture for the demonstration :

1/ Create a new layer (CTRL + Shift + N);
2/ Select the area where you want to insert clouds  (S);
3/ Perform a clouds effects (menu effects/render) with default parameters;

4/ Perform a linear gradient (reflected) from the top of the picture until the near end of the clouds area;
5/ Perform a motion blur effect (menu effects/blurs) with the following parameters : angle 10° et distance 10;
6/ Select the layer properties and switch to « lighten » mode;
7/ Merge the layers.
