Damn, I apologize for this. I didn’t realize that there was a problem with my contact form. Fact is that I am not checking it regurlaly. Thanks for pointing this out to me. It allowed me to fix it! You can now use it safely

Hi John,

The URL is the right one for the ticket submission. The guest user has only access to this one and absolutely no other page within the admin.

Which release of Wats are you running? Can you please send me via the contact form the guest user login/pass so that I can check out the pb?

Thxs Olivier. I’ve done that but now I have a new problem. Trying to login as the guest results in this message

And I think I would have to remove this section « admin.php » but I’ve no idea where in the code I should be looking for this.

Once logged on as the « Guest » is there anyway to limit how much access / permissions they have in the admin section ?

Hi John,

You need to create a guest user and add in one page (or the sidebar) the login form code (take the one from the wp-admin login page). Then set the guest user under the option panel, try to login with it and you are done!

I’m just developing this site. Would like to use WATS. I’m running WP 2.8, PHP 5 on a Linux / Apache server. What I can not seem to find is what are the short codes that I presumably need to enter on a page? So that tickets can be submitted?

Do you run wordpress 2.8? WATS won’t work with any previous release.

Javascript is enabled on your browser? Is your server running php 5?

I installed the WATS plugin because it seems to have a lot of promise. I would really like to see it work. But, after activating it. I went the Tickets tab and click New Ticket and I just get a blank screen. If I view the source, it appears the header loads up through the javascript but then stops so nothing is displayed. Any ideas?
